Mike Toth
Mike Toth
Mike Toth has been managing the Trial Services division over the past four years. Before joining Midwest Trial Services, Mike ran the litigation imaging department at a St. Louis document services company which helped segue into his duties as a trial consultant. His former employment gave him the backend experience needed for preparing clients and material for electronic presentation at trial. His Microsoft certification in networking also gave him the experience needed for both software and hardware applications used in Litigation Services. Mike has personally consulted in over 200 trials with an extremely high success rate.

Keith Montgomery
Keith Montgomery
Keith graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1991 with a B.S. in Mass Communications, focusing on Advertising, Marketing, and especially graphic art. He joined Midwest Litigation Services in September 2000, working in the video department and as a videographer. Eventually he became more involved with the trial services aspect and currently floats between being a trial services consultant, working in the video department, and assisting anywhere else he is needed. Married in September 1997, he and his wife have two children; his daughter is 10 years old and his son is 9 years old. He and his wife recently became certified in scuba diving and hope to utilize and hone these skills on their vacations.

Meet Scott Lefton; a new member of the Midwest Trial Services team. Scott is a St. Louis native, but has been working in Los Angeles since 2003. After graduating from Drake University with a BFA in Theater, he went on to pursue a career in Film/Television, becoming a certified ProTools Post Production Operator. In 2003, he shifted gears and began to work in the legal industry as a Litigation Support Specialist and then as a Trial Technician for Epstein Turner and Song in Los Angeles. (www.etslawfirm.com) At this firm, Scott gained extensive experience working directly with veteran trial attorneys and learning the litigation process. In 2005, his technical background and litigation support expertise led him to become a Trial Technician and Department Manager at Merrill Legal Solutions. (www.merrillcorp.com) In 2008, he began working with Midwest Trial Services (www.midwesttrial.com).
Scott is a certified TrialDirector and Summation IBlaze trainer, and has supported more than 100 trials. He has worked on many high profile trials with nationally recognized law firms such as Morrison Foerster, Jones Day, Manatt Phelps, and Munger Tolles & Olson as well as many local firms such as Brown & James, Hepler Broom, Senniger Powers, Lashly Baer, Brinker & Doyen and McCarthy Leonard & Kaemmerer. Scott has worked with notable attorneys such as: James Bennett of Morrison Foerster on the JDS Uniphase Securities Litigation, Robert Zeavin of Manatt Phelps on the ICO vs. Boeing Satellite Systems trial, Michael Olecki of Grodsky Olecki on the landmark case Ramirez vs. Los Angeles Co. Sheriffs Dept., and Michael Zellers of Tucker Ellis & West on an anti-trust trial RLH Industries vs. SBC Global Communications. He has helped clients avoid over $20 Billion in damages and has helped others to win over $2 Billion in awards.
Scott has a proven winning track record of dealing with large, complex cases and demanding trials. He is extremely pleased to be back in St. Louis and to be working for Midwest Trial Services.
Personal Bio
Scott is a St. Louis native and yes to answer the next question… he went to Parkway Central Highschool. Scott is also a Drake University graduate with a BFA in Theater. He has a lovely wife Jennifer and they live in Chesterfield MO along with their newest member of the family, Mika a Black Lab/Sheppard Mix. While originating from the ‘Lou’ he has lived in Chicago and Los Angeles since graduating from college and moved back to St. Louis in late 2008. Scott is a man of many hobbies; backpacking, hiking, music, audio engineering, competitive chili cooking, and home-brewing to name a few. Some odd things to know about Scott outside of the trial technology world:
1. Was cast as an extra in the movie “White Palace” while he was in the 6th grade.
2. Played in several rock bands thru high school and college: namely My Dixie Weekend and Mirkwood.
3. Worked as sound designer in Chicago and composed an original music score for the play “Some Voices” for Profiles Theater.
4. Worked in LA for 1 season as a sound editor on the show “Blind Date”.
5. Scott is an avid Blues Harmonica player and been playing harmonica since he was 13, he is a member of the Society for the Preservation of Harmonica (SPAH) and has played at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip in LA. You may find him every now and then at the Harmonica Jam at BB’s Jazz Blues and Soups.
